We fight for life day by day. Thousands of us die in the years of polluted air. We mutate, we transmit to generations of diseases because of the overwhelming pollution in which we live, where our children are born. Our lungs are blackened, though we are not all smokers. We live in times of environmental disaster.
We fight for our lives all over the country, against the quarries over our heads whose dust suffocates us, the constant explosions crush our homes, against the mines whose centuries-old poisons will remain standing over our agricultural fields, homes, against the small hydropower plants that take our rivers that are drying up for us, against the destruction of the only world natural and cultural heritage we have, one of the 39 in the whole world, against the extinction of the lakes, against the destruction of forests, against the dumps at every step, against the poisonous pests the ever-expanding doves of them, against the carcinogenic smoke from the burning cables and tires, against the ignorance of the Roma living in post-apocalyptic conditions in our immediate neighborhood, against the buildings popping up around us and taking away our human life,… we fight everybody day with all the environmental disasters that are happening in our country.
We fight for life, and we only have declarations of commitment. We seek to meet the basic prerequisites to show that our lives truly mean, that thousands of premature deaths and illnesses are the reason our lives become a priority for this country.
Our over 100 requests are the prerequisites for the government to show that we are truly a priority, WE, OUR LIFE and HEALTH.
This is the March for our lives across the country, Skopje, Bitola, Tetovo, Veles, Gostivar, Strumica, Novo Selo, Ilovica, Shtuka, Struga, Ohrid, Vozarci, Kavadarci, Chiflik, Demir Kapija, Girovishti, Labunista, Labunista, Labunista, Labunista .
