About us
Our mission is to improve the overall general situation regarding stray animals in N. Macedonia. As an animal and environmental association, our mission is to save the stray animals, as well as raise awareness of the natural ecosystem and its interaction with human environments. In the mean time, we’re trying hard to find homes for the dogs and cats that have come into our care as a result of being abandoned on the streets or badly abused. All the rescues live in pensions, where they are properly socialized and get plenty of human interaction. For now, this is our only way of taking care of them, but unfortunately turns out a bit expensive variation.
Our Events
Besides rescuing strays on daily basis, we're striving towards improvement of the general situation regarding animal welfare and environmental crisis here in our country. We're doing so by raising awareness trough various events, some are small and more intimate, others are more massive, and some we're doing in collaboration with other associations to get more radical changes done. Meet Our Volunteers
The founders and volunteers in Pawsome Enthusiasts, that besides having regular jobs and commitments, are pouring our hearts, soul and energy towards the goal we care about! Check a little bit more about who we are.
Natalija
Oenologist and proud activist for animals rights, mom of two rescue dog’s, one of them she rescued all by herself. She spends her free time with her rescue animals, loves painting, traveling and experiencing new things. She is always in the first row when it comes to helping a human being or an animal in need.
Anastasija
Full Time IT Security Engineer, and basically a computer child. Alongside the profession, she always enjoys challenges and learning new skills, as well as involving in various types of different projects and engagements. Graphic design, photography, film making and project management are just part of her hobbies and skills that she brings to the organization which turn up helpful. Started as a solo activist few years back, and helping when possible. She dislikes 21st century’s capitalism and believes in social entrepreneurship whilst tries her best going towards a goal of protecting the Earth in general, and educating and influencing everyone around of the importance of the matter. Beside animal welfare, in spare time, enjoys running, CrossFit and motorcycling.
Maxim
Full time IT consultant, that brings his experience in strategic planning and project management to the organization. A lifelong animal welfare activist and supporter. Fully dedicated to raising the awareness about mankind’s responsibility in protecting the environment and all of its inhabitants. In his spare time enjoys traveling, motorbiking, photography, astronomy, martial arts, and trying to preach psychology wisdom here and there.
